5ive is a string quartert founded by Brooklyn Woodrum and Jonathan Ross. All six members have all come from the Barboursville String Orcheastra.

Jonathan Ross and Shaun Armstrong had been both playing togheter on their own for sometime. Ross had also played with Brooklyn Woodrum.
