Artist: David Lynch

Album: Blue Bob

Appears On (Mixes): Dub Club: HEY! Where's All The They Might Be Giants?! - Matt

Song Notes: This is the David Lynch who's the film director, not the David Lynch who was in The Platters. He wrote the lyrics, and the music with John Neff, who's doing the vocals. It's a pretty creepy, industrial-blues sound. It's got a definite Captain Beefheart/Tom Waits vibe going on. This is probably my favorite cut from the Blue Bob record, and it's pretty catchy. The single was "Thank You Judge", which Lynch even shot a video for, starring Naomi Watts and Laura Harring, although it's not quite as good; sort of a re-write of Jerry Reed's "She Got The Goldmine (I Got The Shaft)", with a much darker sound. About equally as bitter, though. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
