AJG Part II is the 2nd premixtape album and follow up to AJG's debut underground mixtape. The project was originally released February 1 with a re-release due May 1. The LP accompanies production from Exampl, General Fresh, FreQ Beatz, DJ Yung Stylez, DJ BlockBoi, Huey Baker, Ronnie Brasco, Jay Hearn, Kajmir Royale & The RealCool Ethan. Among the limited guestspots, they include Exampl, Chris Burch (re-release), The RealCool Ethan, Raheem & Fedarro of FreQ Beatz.

HistoryEdit

The album had been hinted at in several statements from AJG as early as September of '08 but wasn't officially announced until Late October.

In Early November AJG leaked a track featuring SB Records recording artist Raheem entitled "One4U" but instead, the 1st official single was picked to be "Good Girl". It leaked November 27 with a major response. It garnered over 600 plays off soundclick players and managed to debut at #4 on the Neo Soul R&B Charts on the first day. The song, produced by FreQ Beatz, featured FreQ Beatz own producer, Fedarro on the hook. By the end of the 1st week in December, "Good Girl" was a certified Main Genre #1 soundclick hit single, making it AJG's first #1 hit in both sub and main charts.

AJG released a 2nd single, "Fly Paper", New Years which manage to peak at #1 on both hip-hop charts. On January 9, AJG had performed portions of "Things Can Change" & "Who's Crying Now?" alongside Exampl for a charity event show in Rancho Cucamonga to help victims in Darfur. AJG has said the even will pretty much boost his album sales in Rancho then he would have just by releasing singles over the net.
