Basses Loaded is a studio album by the Melvins, which was released on June 3, 2016 through Ipecac Recordings. This release features every member that has been a part of the band over the previous decade, with special attention given to the bass players. Steven Shane McDonald, of the bands Redd Kross and Off!, makes his debut with the Melvins as their newest member. In addition, Nirvana co-founder Krist Novoselic makes a guest appearance.[6]

Nine songs from the album were previously released through Amphetamine Reptile Records on two limited edition EPs (Beer Hippy and War Pussy) and in a split-release with Le Butcherettes (Chaos as Usual).
