Beatrice Weinsier (New York City, 30 april, 1917) is an American singer from the big bandera. She sang with Gene Kardos, Artie Shaw and Larry Clinton.
They led the vocal group Bea and the Bachelors (with Al Rinker), which performed in various radio shows (including the Modernaires under the name V8). Mid thirties she sang at Gene Kardos. In 1937, she was asked by bandleader Larry Clinton to come sing with him. She sang on several hits by Clinton, including ' Deep Purple ', ' Martha ' and ' My Reverie '. In 1939 she was in a poll of Billboard named the most popular big band singer. Later that year she went solo and made some recordings, including "Kiss the Boys Goodbye '. After 1942 she made (to this end during the war by a ban) no record more, but she kept singing.
After her career as a singer, she worked with her husband, André Baruch, a radio veteran, as disk jockey at WMCA in New York, where they were billed as Mr. and Mrs. Music. Their program was later televised by ABC and NBC. In the 1970s they had a popular daily talk show in Florida.
