Review: I don't have this single, unfortunately, however the A-side (from The Men Who Loved Music according to the label, though it ended up coming out on Refreshments) is very, very good. "Filet Of Soul" appeared (in a different recording) on the Merry Croutons, Mr. Gulp Gulp Christmas Cassette (though it's not a Christmas Song), and that song's cool -- a bit of a soul/funk work out from The Worst Funk Band In The World. "Cruster's Theme" is exclusive to this single, and is an instrumental on the lines of "Taco Wagon", though much more surf rock. This single is definitely worth hearing -- luckily the B-sides are available in the YFF Yahoo Group's files section. This single was released as a promo, but with notes that amusingly cop to the standard Chain Of Events where a label sends music directors at college stations singles, which end up being listened to once (if that) and promptly sold to the local record store for quick cash. - Rev.
