Dance across the floor is a single by Jimmy Bo Horne. It is from his album of the same title. This can actually be all forgotten. Both single and album are newborns Harry Wayne Casey of KC & The Sunshine Band, in other words. Allmusic describes the album as being an album by KC & The Sunshine Band, but with a better singer.

The song or better KC & The Sunshine Band were so popular that the song also called once in a film from those years was used. Afterwards, the song was ever sampled.DJ Cash Money & Marvelous (The Hard Rocker, 1988), Da Lench Mob (in Freedom Got an AK, 1993) and Cee Lo Green/Christina Aguilera (Nasty (2007).
