De Spelbrekers was a Dutch in 1945 founded singing duo consisting of Theo Rabbani (Valburg24 april 1923 – Rotterdam20 april 2012)[1and Glenn Cook (19 February 1918 – 27 October 2011). The gentlemen had met each other in 1943 in a German ammunition factory where they were employed. In 1956 she broke through with the song Oh, what are you beautiful. In 1962 they were sent to the Eurovision Song Contest with the song " Katinka. At the Eurovision song contest that got no point, but was a big hit in Netherlands. In 1976 it became covered by Neerlands Hoop In Fearful Days on the LP Why youth sentiment? The spoilsports brought further under more so the singleday off from.Edit
