Des'ree (London, 30 november 1968) is the stage name of Desiree Weeks, a British singer, who in the nineties of the 20th century some hits scored. She won her biggest success in Netherlands in 1998, when the song Life on number 1 came. The single You Gotta Be (1994), however, was her biggest international success. The song reached the fifth place in the United States and as many as three times was a top 20 hit in the United Kingdom. In came the Netherlands number never left the tipparade.
Des'ree scored a modest hit In 1993 with Delicate, a duet with Terence Trent D'Arby. In 1996, she was seen in Romeo + Juliet as a singer. The song Kissing You appeared on the soundtrack, and later also on her own album Supernatural.
