BiographyEdit

A label started as a music for Norwegian and Scandinavian folk, it grew to include more rock acts (like The Minus 5) and more experiemental acts, like Henry Cow, The Residents, Snakefinger and Wendy Carlos. In 2002, The Residents left the label, strangely citing ESD's desire to go more in a direction closer to their roots -- this appears to have been erroneous, as they still have a lot of their other bands.
