Eternal was a London R & B-pop girl group that broke through in 1993 and eventually to one of the most successful girls groups from England would grow, both nationally and internationally.

The group consisted of the Christian sisters Easther Bennett and Vernie Bennett and Kéllé Bryan and Louise Nurding, who both to the famous Italia ContiAcademy had been.

Debuting in 1993 with the hit was Eternal the first Stay, girl group with a million selling album in the United Kingdom with Always & Forever.

Louise left the Group In 1995, amid criticism of the fact that Louise was the only white member of the Group; some claimed that Louise was dumped to the chances of a breakthrough in America (where the Group received criticism because it is one blank member had) enlarge. The management of Eternal, however, denied that this was the case.

While Louise started quite a successful solo career, the success of the second album remained Eternal Power of a Woman, which eventually 4 English Top 10 hits were pulled. In 1996 , the group asked the theme song for the Disneymovie The Hunchback of Notre DameSomeday, to sing. It seemed like the perfect opportunity for a breakthrough in America, but for certain reasons was the version of Eternal used everywhere, except in the US (where the group All-4-One took over the vocals).

In may 1997 the group work with the American singer BeBe Winans for, ultimately, most successful single I wanna be the only one. The song was taken from the third album Before The Rain, and was the most played song of 1997 in England.

Kéllé departed In 1998 , after which it was rumored that Easther and Vernie Kéllé by was asked to leave the group with a letter from their lawyer, followed by disturbed business interests between the sisters and Kéllé.

Easther and Vernie went looking for a replacement and took a singer at, TJ, who later left the group soon, allowing the sisters Bennett again only survived. The duo released one last single and album, the little successful What'cha gonna do by the nameless album, for it was fired by EMI in 2000.
