Guns N' Roses are a hard rock band from California, USA. They were formed in 1985 by Axl Rose and Guns. After some shifting of members, including the departure of co-founder Tracii Guns, Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, Izzy Stradlin and Matt Sorum (with Rose) made up the most famous lineup of the band. The band have sold over 100,000,000 records world-wide and are widely recognized for their large discography of signature songs, such as Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City and Patience, amongst others. They have also released many ballad-style songs, such as November Rain, Estranged and Don't Cry. Currently, the only original member is Axl Rose. Due to a feud between Slash and Axl Rose, Slash left the band and formed many side-projects, such as Slash's Snakepit (with fellow band-mate Sorum) and more notably Velvet Revolver (with Sorum and McKagan), which have become a main project and more mainstream).
