[edit] Biography
Founded in 1980 as a hardcore punk label, Frontier Records later broadened in scope to include more poppy types of rock like The Young Fresh Fellows. In the 1980s and early 1990s, they were a bigger indie label, with good distribution, although now they've grown more into an archival label, and their CDs are a little harder to find. They're still going and doing good work, just not as much in the forefront as they were before.
