[edit] Biography
Founded by music mogul David Geffen in 1975, (who had earlier founded Asylum) it's become one of the major major-label imprints, and is now a part of MCA. The label has had some legal adventures in the past -- one of the most famous is when they sued recent signing Neil Young for not making representative albums -- they lost.
