[edit] Genre Description

Glam is a highly-theatrical form of rock music, exlemplified by lots of costumes and makeup. Glam also often played with sexuality, with many glam performers being gay or pan-sexual (or, at least, in their public image). Musically, Glam would often be dancey, and would be often somewhat bouncy. It had a much larger reach in the UK than in the US -- some performers aside, it didn't get a lot of play outside of New York and LA.
