Genre DescriptionEdit

Glitch tends to use a lot of computer-generated sounds in the mix; sometimes created solely from these sounds -- which can include white noise, CD skipping, line noise, and other typically non-musical forms. Often, patterns are created, typically percussive. It's very similar to some forms of IDM, though it's a bit of a subgenre. Glitch has also found its way into Jazz and Hip Hop, and is, in a way, related to Shoegaze.
