Go West is a British electronic dance music duo, formed in 1982 by Peter Cox and Richard Outgoing.

In Netherlands they scored their biggest hit with We Close Our Eyes from 1985. The clip is directed by Godley & Creme. Songs like Don't Look Down and King Of Wishful Thinking made in America for the great success.

In 1990 the group name did Go West by camp in Los Angeles. Richard Outgoing returned in 1994 back to England, and became a song writer/producer. Peter Cox remained still over ten years live in L.A. because it's a city could offer him the desired sound for his solo career.

In 1997, his first solo album Peter Cox. In 2003, he participated in Reborn in the USA (also called Second Chance Idols called); This elimination race for toppers in the 1980s earned him not only a double winner on tour with Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet) but also a reunion with Richard Outgoing.

Since 2009 Peter Cox also sings at Manfred Mann's Earth Band.
