[edit] Band Biography
Henry Rollins was the lead singer of Black Flag, but when they broke up, he put together the Rollins Band to do his music. Around this time, he started doing readings of his poetry (along with self-publishing books of it), which spun out into doing monologues and routines. He's got more spoken word albums now than he does solo musical records, though there's quite a few of those, as well. He also is an actor in his spare time, which he doesn't have any of, as he's always writing, performing, acting, running a label/publishing house and all of the other things he's doing which fall under the category of "working".
