"Hey Harmonica Man"is a song by Stevie Wonder. It was written by Marty Cooper (of The created legal problems with Hazlewood) and Lou Josie. Tamla Records gave up 21 May 1964 as single out, with the on the b-side by Edward Holland, Henry Cosby and Norman Whitfield written "This Little Girl". Wonder with this single reached the 29th place in the American charts.
For the cover was a picture of Wonder who plays the harmonica on the beach. The same photo is part of the album cover of Stevie at the Beach, where "Hey Harmonica Man" also is on. the single and the album were Motown 's attempts to ride on the success of surf. Wonder later said that he found the song embarrassing and it considered a low point of his career.
