Hits is a greatest hits collection by UK indie-pop band Pulp, released in November 2002.

Background[edit]Edit

As a collection, Hits only covers Pulp's singles from the early-90s when they started becoming popular, although the band had existed in one form or another since 1979. "Mis-Shapes", from Different Class, is the only hit single not included here, apparently because the band cannot stand the song.[1] The compilation also includes non-single track "Underwear" and a new song "Last Day of the Miners' Strike".

The album was also released on DVD under the same title, featuring the band's promotional videos from the same era, a number of live performances, documentaries and short movies.
