Can we say "rip-off"? This disc sucks. Actually, the stuff on it is pretty cool—however, it retails for like, 10 bucks, and there's only two songs on there that are new (though "O Tannenbaum" does make its CD debut), but there's so much stuff that's missing—like, say the vinyl-only christmas-related flip to "O Tannenbaum", "Christmas Cards" (which I always liked better than the A-side anyway)? Or why not, say, a re-recorded (or even archival, who's picky) version of "We Just Go Nuts At Christmas Time"? Or... or... or? This release really pissed me off. What's the damn point? I hope Restless didn't hurt themselves putting this one out. You gotta take care you don't put more than 20 minutes on a CD you're going to charge people 10 bucks for... it's an even bigger ripoff than the spinART release of Pixies' Purple Tape Tracks -- at least that had like 10 tracks, NONE of which had been issued before. Sure, that was only 20 minutes too, but you didn't have over half the stuff already. Urgh. Goddammit. Don't waste your money on this crap -- "Santa Claus" and "Feast Of Lights" are well worth having, but, you know, find them elsewhere. There aren't even any decent liner notes to speak of on this disc. I'll say it again: RIP-OFF. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
