The original was written by Bert Berns and Jerry Wexler for an A-side of a song by The Drifters. That single appeared in June 1964 on Atlantic Records record label , but got as A-side Under the Boardwalk; I don't B side was.
The b-side of the single was Icicle lights- Time Is on My Side by Jerry Ragovoy under the pseudonym Norman Meade. It has become known as single by The Rolling Stones, though the hit parades took out and regularly in the Radio 2 Top 2000 State. The song is about a lost love, which the writer thinks they (he) over time yet again come back.
Both I don't if Time did not appear on a Studio album of the Icicle lights. The band stood in terms of LPs in a vacuum. Only Days of Future Passed in 1967 would appear. They were later re-pressed as bonus tracks on The Magnificent Moodies.
