Interpol is currently one of the darlings of the music press, and seem to have quite a devoted following. They've recorded some of their albums in the same studios as James Kochalka Superstar, which makes for an interesting connection between the two acts. After Antics they have been on hiatus, but they're currently recording a third album, rumored to be for major label Interscope.
