Band Biography
More known as a cartoonist than a musician, James Kochalka Superstar has been releasing albums since the 1980s. In the past, either self-released or on very small labels, but he recently signed with Rykodisc, which should put him into record stores now, and make his records much easier to find. He makes up a lot of songs off the top of his head, sometimes using Gameboy music as an accompanyment, but typically with a full band. Musically, he's most known for the song Monkey vs. Robot, though Pizza Rocket and Hockey Monkey (with The Zambonis), from the same record, got some airplay on Nickelodeon's Kablam animation anthology series.
