John Frusciante is an American guitarist. He was born March 5, 1970 in Astoria,Queens, New York City, NY He is well know for being the Red Hot Chili Pepper's guitarist from 1988-1992. After this he struggled with drug addiction and release two vague solo albums; Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt and Smile From the Streets You Hold. He then was urged to go to rehab and recovered. He rejoined the Chili Peppers and is currently the guitarist. He has released these albums with the Red Hot Chili Peppers: One of the top 100 best guitar players off all time. Mother's Milk, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Californication, By the Way, Greatest Hits, and Stadium Arcadium.

He has also released these solo albums: Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt, Smile From the Streets You Hold, To Record Only Water For Ten Days, Going Inside, Shadows Collide with People, The Will to Death, DC EP, Inside of Emptiness, A Sphere in the Heart of Silence, Curtains, and The Empyrean.
