K22 is an English-Turkmen band formed in 2011, consisting of 12 members in total. Only three members of the band have performed on every single song released; Aleksandr Babayev, Alexei Orlov, and Vladimir Georgiev. The other nine members often alternate with each other, depending on availability at the time of recording.
K22's music spans many different genres and styles. Point of Impact, for example, is a harsh album, both musically and lyrically, containing bold political statements, raging guitars and thundering drums. Restless, however, is a smoother sounding album, with calm vocals, acoustic guitars and gentle percussion, along with less politically orientated lyrics.
