Kenny Burrell (Detroit (Michigan), July 31, 1931) is an American jazz guitarist. He is one of the few famous bebop guitar players "of the old guard" that is still alive. He has a diverse set of genres played, although always in the jazz corner. Eventually he focused in particular on the bebop and blues, also combined, as often in the jazz. His most famous production is probably "Midnight Blue", one of his approximately 90 private productions.
