Komakino is a song by the British new wave group Joy Division. It appeared in 1980 as a single and became by Factory Records as 7 "flexi single given away for free with the hope to gain name recognition.
The track is on none of the studio albums that the group in its brief existence (1977-1980) brought out. Joy Division released two studio albums, called Closer andUnknown Pleasures. The single was put on the album Closer and therefore was not over. Later he was to be found on the compilation albums Substance and Heart And Soul.
The single also contains the numbers Incubation and As You Said, who later became better known as Incubation 2 and respectively And Then Again.
The title Komakino is the Polish word for an abstract form of pop music. The English translation is Coma Cinema.
