Local H is an alternative rock duo formed in 1987. There first record was released in 1995 entitled "Ham Fisted". Everscince they have made 6 albums, 2 DVDs, 4 EPs and 14 singles with 9 having videos.

History

Local H was formed in Zoin, IL in 1987. The band was originally a three peice with Scott Lucas on guitar, Matt Garcia on bass, and Joe Daniels on drums. They recorded afew demos intill Matt left in 1993. After the band searched for a new bassist intill they decided that Scott will get a friend to modify bass pickups on his guitar.

After that, they signed a record deal with Island records and released "Ham Fisted","As Good As Dead ", and "Pack Up The Cats".In 1999 Local h left island and Joe left the band. Scott would later recruit Brain St.Clair and they released the "Half-Life E.P." as teaser for there next album "Here Comes The Zoo".

After there fouth album, they released "The No Fun EP" and then there fifth full length release, "Whatever Happened To P.J. Soles?".In 2005, they made a cover of "Toxic" by Britney Spears for there first live album, "Alive '05", and started working for the 2008 release, "12 Angry Months" and released a live DVD "68 Angry Minutes" a year later.

In 2011, The ICON series made an icon complication for Local H, specifically for songs from the years The band was with Island.The ICON cd was called "The Island Years".In 2012, to celebrate the 10th anniversary for here comes the zoo, local h made another DVD called "There Went The Zoo".As of now, Local H is working on there seventh album, "Hallejuh! I'm a Bum", which is said to be released sometime in 2012.
