Mai Tai was a Dutch disco trio that was put together by producers Eric van Tijn and Jochem Fluitsma.

The group consisted of three Dutch (in Suriname and the Antilles born) women, Jetty WagleMildred Douglas and Caroline De Windt. Douglas was previously member of the formation fruitcake. In the mid-1980s and recorded several hits in Netherlands scored Mai Tai also successes in Europe and America. They were also told as background vocals in the hit Kronenburg Park (1985) by Frank Boeijen.

After a pause made Mai Tai in 1993 a comeback in another composition. The success came against. It's Not Aboutthe singles, Are You For Real and flopten, whereby the Group again Afrodisiac stopped in 1997. In 2004 the Group ventures it again, starting with a Song festivaladventure. The trio, however, went no further than the qualifying rounds.

In August 2007, Mai Tai known after twenty years with a brand new album. The disc contained recent material and some old hits. In the same year reached the trio three times the Single Top 100. A new version of ' Body & Soul ' became a club hit was in England.

In 2011, a third comeback made with the premiere at the Disco Legends festival. By return of singer Ruth Davis are two of the three original singers in the Group United with the third singer Eve L'Kay.
