Artist: The Billy Nayer Show
Appears On (Mixes): The Boys And Girls Are Lifting Up Their Plates
Song Notes: This will probably be a bit of a brief one, as I'm still really tired, but this weekend I went down to Portland OR to see The Billy Nayer Show, as I couldn't make it to the Seattle show, which was Sunday. I knew that I wanted to go because aside from the fact that they are an incredibly awesome band, they said they were gonna debut a bunch of new stuff on this tour, as they were working on a new record. So, I went—and the new stuff is AWESOME. Of course, since it's new, I don't have it yet, so I can't share it, but rest assured, you WILL want that new record when it comes out. Which will probably be later this year. So, instead, here's a couple of old songs that they also played, which both got good response and were wicked cool. "Mama Hen" is from the most recent album, Rabbit and "The Skinned Rabbit" is from what is possibly their best record (probably along with Return To Brigadoon), The Villain That Love Built. Anyway, though, DST has screwed me over once again, so not only did I get in real late and have to get up early ANYWAY, but I lost another hour besides. You win this round, farmers.... -Rev.
