Sorry to contact you directly in this manner, is there an up-to-date manual of style or similar set of guidelines/rules for the Music Wiki, I couldn't seem to find one and didn't want to disregard such rules.
Things that should be clear: no copyright violation. No images from elsewhere when license is unknown or license says it's not free to use. Just to remember you just uploaded an image without license tagged or description added. Also copy vio is: copy and paste from Wikipedia. All copyvios are endangering this project and i want to prevent any trouble since i have been made an Admin.
Thanks for asking, i will update the manual and adding some additional rules.
Hi! Sorry for editing the page last time I thought it was that way of submitting the wikis. Are the E-girls/EXILE TRIBE wikis eligible for adding on the J-Pop/K-Pop Music one? If they are can you add them there please? Thank you!!
Actually, that's precisely how submissions are supposed to be added. Please refrain from protecting the page, Saviour1981 - this is a page that is handled by Fandom; as such, Fandom evaluates what is approved and subsequently added to the footers.
then you guys should be responsible for its maintenance and even for spam attacks. I just wanted to bring in my experiences in 5 years of Wikia work due to spam and vandalism coming across from time to time.
Normally I wouldn't respond to something like this, but it serves to clarify some things.
If an admin is promoted independently of the community - i.e., by staff - then staff can make the decision to demote.
On top of that, if an admin (or anyone else) decided to make an account solely to vandalize, staff is within their right to act accordingly, which includes removing any rights from that person, as vandalism and sock puppetry is obviously against the TOU.
Additionally, if an admin or anyone else decided to vandalize a page maintained by Fandom staff, staff is within their right to hand out a ban.
