Mezmerize is the fourth album by System of a Down and the first half of the Mezmerize/Hypnotize double album. It was released on May 17, 2005, six months before Hypnotize.

Boom! a hit!Edit

This album exploded in popularity. This Album started many singles including B.Y.O.B and Question!, these singles brought in many new customers eager to buy this album and also the double album Hypanatize. Mezmerize was the album at which Darron shined as a guitarist and as a singer. Most of the songs played and sung by Darron where based on his experiances in Hollywood, Calirfornia. The album sold 2.5 million copies.
