"My Cherie Amour"is a song by Stevie Wonder. It was originally released on the b-side of the single "I Don't Know Why I Love You", in the United States on January 7 and in the United Kingdom on 14 March 1969. [1a sixteen-year old Wonder wrote the song in 1966 in thirty minutes. The original title was "Oh My Marcia" and it's about a girlfriend with whom he had until recently courtship. Because he first personally found, it was only three years later, in a by Henry Cosby and Sylvia Moy edited version included. [2Moy modified the title in "My Cherie Amour". [3the single reached the fourth place in both the u.s. and the u.k chart and was a bigger success than the a-side.

The song was later covered by among others Joe HarnellHarry JBoney m.The Jackson 5Andy Williams and Billy Eckstine.
