"My Cherie Amour"is a song by Stevie Wonder. It was originally released on the b-side of the single "I Don't Know Why I Love You", in the United States on January 7 and in the United Kingdom on 14 March 1969.  a sixteen-year old Wonder wrote the song in 1966 in thirty minutes. The original title was "Oh My Marcia" and it's about a girlfriend with whom he had until recently courtship. Because he first personally found, it was only three years later, in a by Henry Cosby and Sylvia Moy edited version included.  Moy modified the title in "My Cherie Amour".  the single reached the fourth place in both the u.s. and the u.k chart and was a bigger success than the a-side.
