Song Notes: "My Friend Ringo" was written by Charlie Chesterman; I think it may have been a song from The Law, his early band that also had Tad Hutchison from the Fellows in it, but I'm not sure. The Fellows weren't strangers when it came to working with Charlie Chesterman; they also covered his song "I Hate Everything" on a tour 7", and appeared on a split 7" with his band Scruffy The Cat (the Fellows side was "My Boyfriend's In Killdozer"). This song is on the Fellows album The Men Who Loved Music, and is one of my favorites (this applies to both the song and the record, though my favorite Fellows record is still This One's For The Ladies -- which had their cover of "Picture Book" by The Kinks on it, too!) - Rev.
