Nelson Smock Riddle, Jr. (Oradell (New Jersey), 1 June 1921 – Los Angeles (California), October 6, 1985) was an American bandleader and arranger.

His career stretched from the late forties to the early eighties of the 20th century. Riddle is probably best known for his collaboration with the record label Capitol Recordsin the 1950s, as an arranger and accompanist of many famous soloists like Frank SinatraDean MartinNat King ColeJudy GarlandPeggy LeeLouis Prima and Keely Smith.
