Noël Peirce Coward (sometimes spelled as Noel Pierce; Teddington, 16 december 1899 – 26 March Jamaica, 1973) was an English actor, playwright, Director, andcomposer of popular music.
His best known works include the play Private Lives. This play was performed on Broadway with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton as the ex-spouses, who met by chance on the balconies of their hotel rooms again bump into.
