[edit] Band Biography
Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe started making records in 1983, putting out a couple of singles with Bobby O, and then got picked up for a series of records. In the UK, they've had very, very long runs (record breaking, even) of #1 singles and Top Ten records; in the US, they typically have less success, but have a few hits (most notably "West End Girls"). They're still together and are recording a new album with Trevor Horn.
