Pink Floyd is one of the most popular UK acts on both sides of the atlantic, particularly for a prog-type band. They've had many successful albums and films, despite a relatively rocky band-member relationship and turnover of members/band-leaders. They've been more-or-less defunct for several years, but last year they got together for Live8 -- however while some members are saying a reunion would be possible, others are ruling it out.
