Album: Duty Now For The Future
Appears On (Mixes): Dub Club Matt Auxilliary: KITTY!!!
Song Notes: This one's not reeeally about cats, but whatever. It's also a song I've often found a little bit unsettling (mainly the line "tear your little ears off"), but it's got a really cool sound, and, well, I love DEVO and it's hard for me to do a compilation without including at least one DEVO song. Because, hey, DEVO!. Also, the line "I'm so stroft" comes from an old advertising campaign for Scott Tissues (IIRC), that was a combination of strong and soft (basically saying that you could blow the hell out of your nose with them, and they wouldn't fall apart, but they wouldn't irritate your nose either. Or ass, I guess, if it was toilet paper. But that'd probably just be a little weird... but not really as weird as those awful Charmin Commercials with the bears shitting in the woods.) - Rev.
