[edit] Genre Description
Pop-Rock is precisely what it sounds like -- a combination of Rock and Pop. Typically, Pop-Rock will have the hooks and glossy sound of pop music with a rock band instrumentation, perhaps with the distortion found so commonly in rock music. Some have claimed that pop-rock is defined by the use of guitars, which is considered more important than vocals.
