Artist: France Gall

Album: Poupée De Son

Appears On (Mixes): Dub Club: HEY! Where's All The They Might Be Giants?! - Matt

Song Notes: This is written by Serge Gainsbourg (who's also on here later) for France Gall's Eurovision entry in 1965, representing Luxembourg. It's a hell of awesome song. It's really, really catchy and unlike most of Serge Gainsbourg's stuff, not really dirty at all, just kinda depressing. Still, though, France Gall is wicked adorable. In fact, here, watch her do this song on Eurovision. It's Wicked Adorable and cute. You just wanna give her a big, big hug. She did a lot of work with Serge Gainsbourg, although their relationship ended acrimoniously when she realized that Les Sucettes wasn't actually about lollipops at all. Nar, Really, France? - Rev.
