Review[]

This is the very first DEVO album, and the only one produced by Brian Eno, who was brought in by David Bowie (who was originally going to produce), although Eno had a frustrating time with the album, due to the combination of his experimental, improvisational style and DEVO's precise style of working. Still, though, it's a great record with a lot of really great sounds on it. This and Duty Now For The Future are the two most punk DEVO records, though "Punk" really isn't the most accurate term for it. This album is a little uneven—slightly—but it's still an essential one. Although I personally prefer Duty Now For The Future. - Rev. Syung Myung Me
