[edit] Genre Description
Reggae is an offshoot of ska, and is a bit slower than ska is. Like ska, it's got many different forms and continues to evolve into genres like Dancehall. It's also become sort of a house-genre for the rastafarian movement, and as such, there has been a lot of controversy about it, over the references to marijuana and homophobia in the lyrics.
