[edit] Band Biography
Renaldo & The Loaf were discovered by The Residents and quickly signed to their label, Ralph Records. Until their last album, The Elbow Is Taboo, they didn't use any synthesizers, instead getting sounds that sounded much like synths by using strange (acoustic) instruments, sampling and tape manipulation. After that record, they disbanded. Occasionally Brian Poole will guest on other recordings, but he hasn't released any albums on his own. David Janssen's recent projects are unknown.
