A label started in 1960 by Frank Sinatra, it was absorbed by Warner Brothers in 1963, and ended up being a more prestige imprint of the label. It is almost to the point where Reprise is the main label front, and probably would be if it weren't for the cultural cache that the Warner Brothers name already holds across all media.
