The number was almost never published. During the recordings of Al MatthewsFool saw the opportunity to put on record the number by Tubbs Maxine Nightingale. Until then there was only a demo version with the vocals of Edwards. Edwards had worked together previously and Nightingale in Hair. Nightingale wanted to include only underpseudonym of piece rates (45 $ for a song). Finally, Edwards to persuade her to deliver it under her own name and that they got royalties per sold number.

In the Central Sound sound studio in Camden was an illustrious company present to record the demo of Nightingale. Mike de Albuquerque (bassist of ELOWilfred Gibson(violinist from ELO for the package), Dave Rowberry (keyboards) andstudio drummer Pete Kircher (names it on along with Edwards on percussion and Tubbs on guitar. The song was a solo song of Nightingale, Edwards wanted more a duet, but singing was not his strongest side (thus Nightingale).

Chart Positions[Edit][]

Brought the recordings from United Records and soon ended up in London's nightclubs and there began to come question. In november 1975 began the plate to penetrate the British hit parade, which would end in eight weeks quotation and a highest place 8. Two months later, the picture began to sell in the United States. There it had more success. It remained 20 weeks in the Billboard Hot 100 , with as the highest listing (and) four weeks a second place.

Netherlands and Belgium also ran hot for the picture, but half a year later.
