Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word is a classic from 1976 by the British singer Elton John. The single came from the album Blue moves in Netherlands and Belgium, among others, and was a top 20 hit. The record was written by the famous writer Bernie Taupin.

In 2003, the single covered by British boy band Blue in collaboration with John. The single was a worldwide hit and again in Netherlands and Belgium stood the plate several weeks on first place in the charts. For John it meant his fourth number 1 hit in the Netherlands.

In addition to the cover of Blue is the number several times by other artists included. Among other things, Joe CockerMary j. BligeClay Aiken and Marty wanted to have a new version of made. Elton John himself has the number along with Ray Charles also once included.
