Soul II Soul is a British pop group formed around Brittany B (January 26, 1963), which scored some big hits in the late 1980s.

In addition to Brittany B were members of Soul II Soul singer Caron Wheeler, producer Nellee Hooper, singer and instrumentalist Do'reen Waddell Philip ' Daddae ' Harvey.

Soul II Soul was founded in 1988 after Brittany B the young, but talented producer Nelle Hooper met. Jointly they sought a singer, and when Caron Wheeler joined Soul II Soul was a fact. Their first singles flopten, but with the single Keep on movin' they scored a major international hit. Hereinafter referred to as the single Back to life came from. This last song was a number 1hit in the Netherlands, among others. From the first album by Soul II Soul were more than 4 million copies sold worldwide, and Soul II Soul became a trendsetter in both r & b style dance-music as.

After singer Caron Wheeler Back to life left the group to pursue a solo career. Soul II Soul, however, scored some other hits, although the group members were more successful as a producer of other artists, including MadonnaU2Björk and Massive Attack.

In 1995, Caron Wheeler back at the group, but the Group didn't know big hits to score more. In 2002, former singer Do'reen Waddell on 36-year-old age in a traffic accident.
