Southside Johnny, born John Lyon (Ocean Grove4 december 1948) is an American singer-songwriter. Best known as frontman of Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes. He is the godfather of the Jersey Shore sound , a mix of old pre-Beatles rock and roll with pre-Motown rhythm and blues.
